Norseman Estate - Norseman
- Norseman owes its beginnings to a stroke of horse shoe luck. In 1894 prospector Lawrence Sinclair's horse Norseman kicked a piece of ground to reveal a large gold nugget in the dusty Western Australian outback.
- The lucky find sparked the start of a gold rush and the birth of Norseman, appropriately named after Sinclair's lucky companion.
- Norseman was once the second-richest goldfield in Western Australia, next to the Golden Mile of Kalgoorlie. Since 1892, more than 100 tonnes of gold have been extracted from the area. The mining town, 724 kilometres east of Perth, is also the eastern gateway to Western Australia and a major stopping point for travellers both to and from the Eastern States.
- To continue the development of a vibrant regional community, purchasers are required to build their home within 36 months from settlement.
