- The Anglican School Googong takes students from Early Learning to year 12. The Googong Public School takes students from K-Year 6
- A public secondary school is to open in the years ahead
- There are currently six playing fields, nine playgrounds, two dog parks and two tennis courts, six netball courts, a skate park and a pump track in use in the town, as well as over 15km of walkways, bike paths and bush trails
- Ultimately Googong will boast eleven playing fields, ten tennis courts, six netball courts, a regional playground, thirteen local parks, an indoor pool and sports centre, tennis facility, skate park, adventure playground, pitch and putt, and more
